AWW WHERE TO START? tHIS GUY WHO IS A CUSTODIAN WAS HURT ON THE JOB IN JULY. fOR SHORTENING STORY SAKE, HE HAD TO HAVE A WORK COMP LAWYER AND FINALLY GOT SOME THINGS FIXED BUT IN MEAN TIME.... hE WAS RUNNING TO hUMAN rESOURCE OFFICE ON A DAILY BASIS WITH OUT TELLING THE PROPER ADMINISTRATORS AT THE JOB SITE. HE DID THIS NUMEROUS TIMES LIKE UMMM 10 OR 12 MAYBE MORE.. hE ALSO DID IT A FEW TIMES 2 YEARS AGO. hE HAS BEEN VERBALLY WARNED AND WRITTEN UP TWICE IN A WEEKS TIME FOR DOING THIS. HE WAS CALLED TO HR. FOR DISCIPLINE ON THIS ISSUE. THEY WERE GOING TO TERMINATE HIS JOB. LEGALLY THEY HAVE THE RIGHT, THEY FOLLOWED ALL THE RULES. HE ADMITTED TO DOING ALL THAT THEY SAID HE DID. HE ADMITTED THAT THEY TOLD HIM HE WAS NOT TO DO SO, HE ALSO ADMITTED HE WAS WRONG BUT HE WANTED THEM TO MAKE WORKMENS' COMP ALLOW HIM TO HAVE A SPECIAL TEST RUN THAT HIS DR. SAID HE NEEDED. TO MAKE IT A LITTLE SHORTER, I KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO TERMINATE HIM UNLESS I COULD PERSUDE THEM NOT TO. I PRESENTED A PROPOSAL TO THEM TRYING TO SAVE HIS JOB. I OFFERED THEM THAT HE WOULD BE WILLING TO BE ON
1. 3 YRS. PROBATION
2. NO TIME OFF WITHOUT DR. NOTE
3. NO LEAVING THE PREMISES WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM ADMINISTRATOR.
4. NEXT 5 DAYS WITHOUT PAY.
IF ANY OF THE ABOVE WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY THEY HAD THE RIGHT WITHOUT APPEAL FROM US TO TERMINATE ON THE SPOT.
I REALLY THINK THEY MAY HAVE GONE WITH IT, BUT THAT SAME AFTERNOON AT 2:10 PM HE WALKED OFF THE JOB AGAIN!!
I LOST IT REALLY I DID WHEN I FOUND OUT ON MONDAY. THIS REALLY MADE ME LOSE IT THOUGH HE CALLED ME MONDAY AFTERNOON AND SAID THEY TERMINATED HIM AND HE WANTS TO APPEAL!!! aggggg!!!!
